Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual global consolidated financial statements including Consolidated Income Statement, Consolidated Balance Sheet, Statement of Equity and Statement of Cash Flows.
  • Responsible for the global consolidation process including the recording of consolidating entries, reconciliation of inter-company balances and transactions and investment in subsidiary and other related transactions.
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual (Form 10-K) SEC financial reporting, including cash flow statements, footnotes disclosures and preparation of supporting schedules
  • Perform analysis of CTA account and functional currency gains/losses and analyze the impact of foreign currency translation on the consolidated financial statements.
  • Assist with technical accounting research (revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, etc.) and oversight of goodwill, intangible assets, including support of quarterly/annual impairment review processes (as applicable).
  • Responsible for the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements as directed, (including updating SOX documentation and testing of processes including assessments, planning and walk-throughs.
  • Assist Global Controller with establishing and maintaining financial policies, practices, and procedures for the company in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Ensures an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by external auditors.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns.
  • Assist with the timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial information including preparation of month-end schedules, account reconciliations and analysis, and corporate reporting requirements
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks and activities as required
  • Provides specialized accounting and reporting projects as assigned by management

 

Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred
  • 4+ years experience with a public company or public accounting firm
  • Technically proficient in U.S. GAAP and SEC financial reporting
  • Technical research skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge, experience, understanding of COSO, SOX, and effective control environments
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and consolidation processes including intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations and foreign currency translations
  • Experience working in a multi-national environment with the ability to collaborate effectively and partner across different cultures, experience levels, currencies, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet targeted deadlines
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • High proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Define business transformation initiatives and programs for Powerfleet:
  • Help identify the initiatives that will enable the business to drive margin expansion and increase operational efficiency within the business, expand into new geographies and launch new products.
  • Articulate the business need for change; build the business cases to justify investment, measure customer experience impact and business risk, and secure sign off to proceed.
  • Deliver business transformation programs:
  • Define the programme to deliver the change and lead the implementation, working cross-functionally with Powerfleet team members, customers, and partners on a global basis.
  • Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal parties to ensure that programmes are delivered within time, cost and quality measures. Hold partners to account, and support customers through change activity.
  • Ensure that all business transformation projects are delivered to the highest standards using best in class tools, techniques, and processes. Develop the tools, techniques, and templates to drive continuous improvement in our delivery methodology.
  • Manage the change effectively with sensitivity to teams impacted.

  • Chair internal and external steering groups to report to senior executives on progress and ask for help as needed. Engage with senior stakeholders both internally (C-level sponsorship for these initiatives) as well in partners and customers.
  • Matrix-manage a project team including business sponsors and team members across multiple skill sets and units.
  • Set objectives and drive delivery for the team, assign tasks, allocate budgets, and agree to timetables for achieving intermediate and overall goals.
  • Adapt well to changing goals and show flexibility as the program develops.
  • Effectively embed transformation into the operation well past program implementation and continue to support the operation as the business need evolves.
  • Enable Powerfleet’s corporate development strategy:
  • Manage and track M&A activity across the business. Help devise an M&A strategy for Powerfleet and work to implement it – track and monitor M&A activity, and lead M&A activities undertaken by the business.
  • Working with the team to conduct operational due diligence before acquisitions are undertaken. Liaise with the wider Powerfleet team, external consultants and advisors, and the target’s leadership team to identify opportunities for revenue and margin expansion through successful acquisition and integration.
  • Negotiate Transitional Services Agreements in carve-out situations and ensure business separation is completed on time, on budget.
  • Where appropriate, take ownership for the overall integration of acquisitions into the Powerfleet business across every vector – people, organization, systems, go to market strategy, product etc. Liaise with the leadership team across Powerfleet and the target company to define integration objectives and define a plan to deliver these.
  • Create the playbook for standardization and repeatability in how we integrate acquisitions with pace and grace into Powerfleet.

Summary:

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction while leading a team of Tier II team members to do the same.  Our goal is to accurately close cases as expeditiously as possible, while providing future documentation and step by step instructions for other Tier team members to ensure they can consistently support and close future instances of similar cases.  Tier 3 Support will work with engineering teams, implementation teams, customer service representatives, and customers on an extensive basis.  The ideal candidate will have customer service experience combined with a strong technical capability.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility to troubleshoot and resolve software issues. Act as primary escalation for issues escalating to engineering.  Case resolution must be accurate, timely, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as liaison for application and database issues between customers and developers. Apply existing knowledge of programming, databases, and operating systems to research and provide direction and/or resolution for application, database or technical problems as identified in a case.
  • Work with level 3 product support to acquire product patches and new standard versions for delivery to customers.
  • Software Installation and Maintenance bug fixes and upgrades for Customer Hosted locations. Many of these requirements will be provided onsite at our Customer’s location.
  • Provide courteous assistance and technical support to Customers via phone/email/web, to resolve issues related to the installation, functionality, and usage of our Products.
  • Maintain an accurate record of activities using CRM software, ensuring detailed and accurate entries.

  • Participate and lead in 7 X 24 on call rotation for SEV 1 issues and outages.

Summary:

The VP, Global Cash and Collections will be responsible for leading all of AR Management, Credit & Collections, Dispute Resolutions, Cash Applications, and Reporting & Analysis.  This person will work across all global regions and business units to ensure that the team operates effectively and efficiently to support the organization and ensure the timely and accurate collections of accounts receivable balances.  The ideal candidate is a forward thinking, strategically minded, customer focused individual with a strong ability to analyze data and develop, communicate, and execute recommendations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable/Collections/Cash Applications and Resolution teams for all corporate accounts across Powerfleet’s global territories
  • Partner with Global Controller to design and lead strategic activities including integration efforts
  • Interact regularly with Sales, Customer Service, and Professional Services leadership teams to obtain the required information and documentation to properly collect on past due accounts
  • Manage 3rd party Financing relationships
  • Implement processes to improve cash flow and decrease accounts receivables
  • Evaluate and determine new key KPIs for credit and collections teams
  • Lead the cash Forecasting modeling for all global accounts including monthly / quarterly cash goals
  • Drive adoption of global process standards and gain buy-in from key stakeholders

 

Role Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or Business and at least 10 years of experience managing a large receivables portfolio – two years at the global level.
  • SaaS experience is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing global teams
  • Strong execution ability and a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of contracting business models and processes highly preferred
  • Experience in designing and enhancing Collections processes
  • Expert knowledge of all MS Office products required

HelpDesk Support Analyst

Reports To: Manager of Desktop and Users Support

Our IT Infrastructure team is responsible for supporting employee Desktops, Laptops, and Mobile devices, BackOffice Systems, Business Application Systems, and Product solutions globally for our company.

The HelpDesk Support Analyst will be responsible for the day to day hands-on support of our Powerfleet employees.  This person will spend two-thirds of his/her day responding to and servicing IT HelpDesk ticket requests and the balance completing IT project tasks under the direction of the Manager of Desktop and Users Support.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor IT HelpDesk ticketing system, escalate and dispatch to applicable tiered IT support as needed
  • Resolve basic Tier 1 HelpDesk ticket requests and escalate as necessary
  • Maintain and configure the HelpDesk Management System to produce statuses and KPI reports
  • Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and work with Vendors to provide Break/Fix support
  • Desktop End User Hardware (PC, Laptop, Mobile Phone) deployment
  • Provide support to End-users on Back-office and User applications including Training and Troubleshooting
  • Assist Operations with administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist IT Management with various IT projects as needed
  • Assist with Tampa facility infrastructure support when needed

Role Requirements:

  • Computer Science/Engineering degree or applicable hands-on IT work experience
  • At least 2 years of applicable technical help desk support experience
  • Must have the unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must be local to one of or U.S. office locations, preferably NJ

Under general direction of the Director, The Systems’ Analyst will serve as a liaison between multiple business units and our technology teams leading the analysis of systems capabilities, identifying areas of improvements, and driving meaningful change into the organization.   • Collaborate with the business users to review and analyze requirements and create functional specifications in a fast-paced global environment. Provide expert support to key stakeholders in managing system and process changes

    Qualifications
  • Specific practical knowledge, hands-on skills and technical depth related to network architecture, and information and cyber security compliance.
