Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of general Accounting support and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Preparing bank deposits
  • Filing of vendor payments; documents and matches invoices to purchase orders or vouchers
  • Assist with processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Processing weekly check runs
  • Assist with Financial audit requests
  • Monitor expense report approvals/coding in T&E Software
  • Responsible for entering/posting daily cash receipts
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office; strong Excel skills required
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with bank reconciliation and tracking credit card transactions
  • Must be local to the Woodcliff Lake, NJ office

Scope

The Inventory and Logistics Manager is a highly visible position within I.D. Systems with daily objectives critical to meeting essential business requirements. The scope of this position is to manage and prioritize daily shipments to I.D. Systems customers while maintaining the highest inventory integrity. Additionally, this position manages the warranty return process which includes analysis, repair and return to customers within defined service level agreements. I.D. Systems utilizes strategic supply chain partners to manufacture their products. These partners also maintain consigned inventory materials, provide RMA / Warranty support and execute direct customer fulfillment activities. The individual selected for this role will interface directly with each of those suppliers to review schedules and work through any supply chain or other technical issues.

Position requirements

  • Order Management: Daily interface with strategic supply chain partners to prioritize, manufacture and ship customer orders. Monitor and address order entry issues, backorder schedule, provide supportive data and systems support where applicable. Act as liaison with sales and order entry. Candidate should have strong organizational skills and be flexible to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Inventory Reconciliation and Management: Manage the company owned inventory kept at contract manufacturer locations. Ensure inventory is classified correctly, properly rotated and adjusted as necessary. Reconciliation reporting of contract manufacturer to physical and internal systems count. Request inventory reorders when necessary being cognizant of lead times and product life cycles. Assist in the implementation and usage of an MRP system. Be an integral part of the year-end inventory process. Interface closely with Purchasing Manager to maintain product forecast with necessary inventory levels to achieve it.
  • Reverse Logistics: Process equipment returns from customers. Generate Quotes for out of warranty repair work. Ensure timely repair and return to customers to meet contractual service level agreements. Support with packaging and shipping as needed. Return equipment under warranty to vendors, track replacements.
  • Shipping/Traffic: Experience with international shipping rules and regulations; import/export compliance. Prepare international shipping documentation. Support the product classification process to ensure HTS/ECCN assignment. Knowledge of INCO terms. Battery shipping certification is beneficial. Understand the requirements and obligations of cross-border shipping. Obtain rate quotes and coordinate outbound business shipping for various business units. Continuously compare performance of couriers and work to reduce costs and improve performance.
  • Interdepartmental Support: Work closely with Accounting for timely invoice payments, auditing support and Collections team. Provide product and availability support to Sales teams, coordinate with sales order entry and customer support.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Knowledgeable and proficient with ERP/MRP systems; direct experience with SalesForce.com is highly desired.
  • Self-starting, multi-disciplinary individual possessing strong leadership skills with a focus on building processes and systems.
  • Work independently and take initiative to address issues/improve processes.
  • Proven ability to solve manufacturing problems using good technical judgment and six sigma problem solving techniques.
  • Thorough understanding of production planning and inventory management.
  • Individual must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast moving environment.
  • Experience leading RMA or warranty repair / return processes.
  • PC end user computer skills: proficient with MS-Office Product Suite
  • Knowledge of electronic products and components
  • 5+ years of manufacturing, production, and supervisory experience
  • Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing Certification
  • Effective written and oral communication skills

Role Summary

The Vice President, Enterprise Sales is responsible for achieving IDYS’s enterprise sales revenue and profitability targets to Transportation and Logistics Top 100 prospects. In addition, the Vice President of Enterprise Sales will develop sales plans and strategy to help launch a new, disruptive technology solution to the largest transportation, logistics and supply chain organizations in order to provide realtime freight and asset visibility and condition.

To excel in this role, you must be a successful sales hunter who can:

  • Drive new business growth by selling solutions to enterprise accounts
  • Research and understand the prospective clients’ business goals, objectives and challenges
  • Propose solutions of our suite of products to deliver a clear, quantifiable business value
  • Deliver strong performance against required sales/revenue targets

This role is ultimately responsible for penetrating and winning new logo accounts and growing existing business with IDSY solutions to meet revenue and profit targets.

Apply an understanding of industry trends and business requirements, develop solutions and strategies, and drive sustained growth through a focus on enterprise customer wins, top line revenue generation and predictable margins. You will be responsible for generating excitement and demand for this new technology by leveraging existing relationships, and establishing new ones, especially at executive levels. In addition, you will also provide significant expertise and business acumen regarding sales planning, market and competitive analysis as well as providing thought leadership from your cumulative industry, product, and company-specific experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive overall enterprise sales strategy to develop and close new business
  • Plan and lead regularly scheduled forecast meetings on a quarterly & monthly cadence
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to IDSY’s leadership team
  • Align and leverage internal resources to build, develop, and close enterprise accounts
  • Develop and maintain executive and senior-level client relationships
  • Directly participate in closing deals with target accounts and driving business initiatives for future success
  • Leverage and expand a broad range of contacts across the transportation and logistics supply chain to ensure relationships are broad and deep
  • Leverage your existing relationships with large transportation, logistics and supply chain clients to introduce them to IDSY solutions
  • Support the gathering of market intelligence covering competitors’ products and sales strategies
  • Provide leadership and direction for all business development activities throughout the company
  • Increase sales and demand for IDSY solutions within these large enterprise accounts by offering powerful new technology solutions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with at least 7 years’ experience in technology solution sales to the transportation industry
  • Demonstrated experience selling enterprise solutions to C-level executives
  • Ability to hunt and cultivate new sales opportunities with enterprise prospects
  • Demonstrated and verifiable skills in leading sales engagements, sales management, customer engagement, preparing proposals, presentations, internal and external reports
  • This is a HANDS-ON-ROLE, where you must be able to pursue, manage, and close new accounts
  • Proven record of accomplishment of selling hardware and software solutions to the transportation industry
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to present confidently
  • Extensive knowledge of transportation, logistics and supply chain markets
  • The ability to travel extensively throughout the country
  • Candidates may reside anywhere in the Midwest, Dallas, or Atlanta
  • Must have the unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
