Gabelstapler Gateway (VAC)
Intelligentes Flottenmanagement für Flurförderzeuge
Das Gabelstapler Gateway (VAC) garantiert die drahtlose, automatisierte Verfolgung, Kontrolle, Verwaltung und Steuerung von Flurförderzeugen und ihrer Nutzung. Es kann sicher und nahtlos am Gabelstapler oder an anderen Flurförderzeugen, Industrie- und Nutzfahrzeugen installiert und integriert werden. Auch in Mischflotten.
Durch eine eindeutige Fahreridentifikation regelt das Gabelstapler Gateway (VAC) besonders effektiv Zugriffsberechtigungen und bestimmt, wer, wann und wie mit dem Fahrzeug interagieren darf. Nach Anmeldung am Stapler und erfolgreicher Identifikation des jeweiligen Nutzers erzwingt das Gateway vor dem Start und Fahrbeginn über eine elektronische Sicherheits-Checkliste obligatorische Überprüfungen des Fahrzeugs und garantiert dadurch die Einhaltung der Sicherheitsprotokolle. Ebenso stellt es die Verbindung zu einem auf maschinellem Lernen basierenden Crash Sensor her, der am Gabelstaplerrahmen montiert ist und potenzielle Gewaltschäden erkennt. Darüber hinaus überwacht das Gateway permanent die wichtigsten Leistungsdaten des Staplers, um die Optimierung und Wartung zu vereinfachen.
Um die Automatisierung und Sicherheit noch zu erhöhen, lässt es sich optional mit zusätzlichen Sensoren (Geschwindigkeit, Last, GPS-Standort, Fußgängererkennung, usw.) sowie Kameras, einschließlich DVR, verbinden. Pedestrian Proximity Detection
AI-enabled video system for pedestrian and vehicle safety warning
The advanced video system enhances safety measures by proactively preventing accidents and mitigating damage to industrial material handling equipment. It employs automatic object detection capabilities to identify people and other industrial material handling equipment, alerting operators to potential hazards and imminent danger. By fostering a safety-conscious environment, this system plays a vital role in upholding workplace safety standards.
The system can include up to three vehicle-powered cameras equipped with embedded artificial intelligence that can identify select objects. It also features front and rear indicator lights that emit audible and visual warnings when objects breach the vehicle path. A central wiring box powers the cameras and connects inputs and outputs for zone detection. When linked to our Forklift Gateway, camera outputs capture event details like breach location, time, and driver identification.
The Pedestrian Proximity Detection system identifies risks without special apparel or wearable tags, ensuring universal and reliable safety. It alerts drivers and pedestrians to avoid health and safety issues and provides management with quantifiable analytics for coaching best practices.
It can integrate with Powerfleet’s SaaS-based platform that ingests, processes, and enriches data from every asset, vehicle, and person. It helps decrease safety incidents by triggering speed and access control, detection of high-risk areas by identifying near-miss events, driver coaching, and more.

Digital Video Recorder
Looping DVR with event-triggered video clips
The Digital Video Recorder is designed for forklifts and industrial material handling equipment. This powerful system comprises a central DVR and up to 4 compatible cameras, continuously recording during vehicle operation. When connected to our Forklift Gateway, the DVR automatically saves video clips capturing events like impacts, providing a comprehensive record of before, during, and after incidents. Additionally, operators can manually trigger video clips, allowing proactive monitoring of material conditions during facility navigation and trailer loading.
The system serves multiple purposes, including operator monitoring for identifying bottlenecks and problem areas, detecting damaged materials and equipment, verifying accident claims, and providing opportunities for operator coaching.
The Digital Video Recorder can be used offline, by reviewing SD card recordings, or can have cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity options to integrate with Powerfleet’s SaaS-based fleet intelligence platform. The platform provides notifications as well as the option to quickly review events without having to pull the Digital Video Recorder’s SD Card.

Speed Manager
Event-based, automatic forklift speed control
The Speed Manager is an on-board device, mounted on the forklift that automatically reduces the vehicle’s maximum speed in response to specific qualifying events.
The device receives inputs from various devices and sensors also mounted on the vehicle, triggering the Speed Manager to restrict the throttle speed to one of two levels.
By proactively reducing the vehicle’s speed prior to a potential collision, this preventive measure effectively averts incidents. Following an event, the system decelerates the vehicle, facilitating thorough inspections and assessments to ensure proper evaluation.

On-board forklift hydraulic weighing scales
Powerfleet offers two models of scales for forklifts and other material handling equipment. These scales enable tracking of production data and freight loads, while differing in their precision percentage.
The Forklift Scales are equipped with an easy-to-read LCD screen, which indicates a load’s calculated weight and bar graph of the load’s status. With the scales, shipments will not exceed trailer capacity, waybills are in line with actual weight, lift truck capacity is not exceeded, and material inventory matches actual weight.
Developed to withstand rugged applications, the Forklift Scales fit seamlessly to most makes and models of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Gut erkennbar – vor allem in einer lauten Arbeitsumgebung.
Unsere Warnleuchten-Familie wird ergänzt durch den speziell für Laufkrane entwickelten Arbeitsschweinwerfer Maxi. Montiert an der Unterseite des Krans, projiziert er einen LED-Punkt oder eine -Linie eng fokussiert auf den Boden. Die Gefahrenzone wird dadurch für Fußgänger und andere Personen gut sichtbar angezeigt. Darüber hinaus unterstützt Maxi den Laufkranfahrer bei der präzisen Positionierung von Kranhaken und Ladung.

The Powerfleet solution is easy to use. The Powerfleet team is helpful and has follow-up meetings after installation to make sure we know how to manage it. At the time our utility trailer was stolen and equipped with Powerfleet technology, I was out of town (not in the office), but the system was easy to use remotely. I was able to log-in and track our assets from anywhere.
Two years ago, we could buy a dry van trailer for $30,000 – today, they are $50,000. Some receivers use our trailers as an extension of their warehouse.
