Our Powerfleet for Automotive group develops, sells and supports unique and patented products and solutions to global rental fleet and car sharing providers. For Powerfleet for Industrial, I.D. Systems designs and delivers products which focus on facility and campus logistics operations via its vehicle management solutions. Responsibilities

  • Promote Logistics Visibility Solutions (LVS) products and solutions by identifying, targeting, qualifying, and developing new business leads and opportunities with prospective customers
  • Utilize prospecting skills to implement strategies and tactics for successful new business opportunity development with companies ranging in size from level Fortune 500™ enterprises to SMB’s
  • Use professional and effective communication skills via phone and email to qualify new prospects, perform initial discovery of prospects’ business needs, develop prospects’ interest in Asset Intelligence solutions and products, and set discovery meetings for Regional Sales Managers
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM, marketing automation software, databases, and other software tools to manage daily prospecting activities
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales qualified lead (SQL) goals
  • Become knowledgeable of Asset Intelligence products and solutions, and display proficiency in communicating the benefits and capabilities of the company’s products
  • Provide weekly business development reports to Sales Management
  • Participate in sales meetings with Regional Sales Manager in a solution-selling environment
  • Coordinate with and provide support to other team members and departments including Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, and Marketing Team
  • Represent Asset Intelligence with professionalism, excellent communication, and respect at all times. Project professional image with customers and prospects
  • Maintain adherence to company and department policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience
  • Prefer candidates with formal sales training, or familiarity with solution-selling sales methodologies in previous experience
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • Possess internal drive and motivation to succeed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft business applications
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Must reside in the Dallas area

The Industrial Truck Management team designs and delivers products which focus on facility and campus logistics via its vehicle management solutions. These systems are currently sold as both customer-hosted and IDSY-hosted solutions, with more and more customers moving to our SaaS model.

The Trailer Tracking product team develops trailer and container tracking solutions for manufacturers, retailers, shippers, and freight transportation providers. Role Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate any customer/prospect visits to the Plano office to ensure the office and team is ready for the visit.
    1. Handle breakfasts, lunch or dinner arrangements for business events.
    2. Set-up/break-down for meetings and maintain proper appearance/cleanliness of room and office.
  2. Maintain the overall upkeep and organization of the Plano office space
    1. Order office and breakroom supplies
    2. Act as point of contact for the building (cleaning, maintenance, key cards, etc.).
    3. Manage mailing needs for office
  3. Organize events for the company
    1. Annual holiday party, Happy Hours, Town Hall Meetings, etc.
    2. Perform special projects as assigned.
  4. Act as a liaison with company’s department and assist new employees onboarding set up (i.e. Business Cards, Corporate Card, Certify, Concur, Sales Force etc.).
  5. Back-up for LVS agreement requests and orders.
    1. Back-up for Jennifer Hunter overload and PTO (Jennifer currently supports all three divisions which can at times make the time it takes to get agreements and orders longer).
    2. Run reports to assist on contracts that still have OPEN Quantities available.
  6. Assist with the updating and development of the SFDC Transportation price book.
    1. Delete inactive parts.
    2. Focus on updating the active parts so they have proper names, descriptions and groups.
    3. Help get pictures of all the parts in SFDC to ensure LVS associates are ordering correct spare parts.
    4. Assist with developing a portal for customers to request spare parts orders on their own.
    5. Assist with Go To Marketing elements and help manage the TAM Sales TOOLKIT in SFDC.

      4. Anything used that is customer facing
  7. Manage and assist the planning for various Association Meetings such as all our State Trucking Associations Memberships as a SPOC and liaison to the RSM’s, Harbor Trucking Association, or other smaller networking associations.
  8. Following up on order / shipping confirmations.
    1. Reviewing daily shipping and open order reports to make sure customers’ orders are on time and units are loaded into the web portal correctly
    2. Track missing shipments with UPS
  9. Assist with Travel as needed for LVS associates.
  10. Manage GM expense reports.

Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable sales administration experience

Scope

The individual selected for this position will be an integral member of the Product Management Team working to support existing products, cost / quality optimization and next generation development / sourcing. Individual responsibilities will include sourcing, developing quotation packages, documentation control, production test development, quality yield monitoring / improvement and delivery of high reliability products. Ultimately, the individual will transfer functional assembly and test requirements from an Engineering / Development environment into a 3rd party Manufacturing environment. This person will be the primary liaison with strategic suppliers and will also support day to day delivery, technical or quality requirements.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Primary technical liaison supporting R&D new product development and introduction to manufacturing. Includes early product analysis, coordinating proto-type, alpha and beta builds. Develop and manage supply chain production ramp-up plans.
  • Perform Manufacturability assessments (DFM, DFT) for new products or Engineering Changes (ECO’s).
  • Manage overall project activities from original concept through final implementation for new and existing products.
  • Review, refine, approve and coordinate product release ECN’s both internally and with supply chain.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports toensure adherence to release schedules and quality requirements.
  • Establish and verify assembly standards to optimize quality, material flow, assembly processes andcost validation.
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve production issues and delivery requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for existing and new products inclusive of AssemblyInstructions, Quality Instructions, Preventative Maintenance Plans and Assembly Fixtures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Manufacturing Engineering practices and implement as required.
  • Carry out quality improvement, productivity improvement and manufacturing cost reductioninitiatives.
  • Perform training for test and production personnel on equipment, products and processes.
  • Management and implementation of RoHs product requirements.

Skills & Abilities

  • Project management and task management skills that include the ability to plan, prioritize, organize, gather facts, prepare schedules, document procedures and processes, and exercise sound judgment in decision making.
  • Self-starting, multi-disciplinary engineer with strong leadership skills and focus on building processes and systems.
  • Proven ability to solve manufacturing problems using good technical judgment and six sigma problem solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.Technical Knowledge Areas:
  • Experience and understanding of PCBA processes including, screen printing, placement, reflow, AOI & X-ray equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Cellular Manufacturing Design, DFM, DFT, Takt Time Analysis, APQP, PPAP,MSA, PFMEA’s, DFM, and 5S.
  • Strong Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing and ISO background.
  • Working knowledge of analog, digital and RF PCBA electronic product manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience and understanding of RF systems set-up and operation
  • Familiar with ROHS product requirements.

 

Education, Experience, and Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related Engineering discipline (Electrical, Manufacturing / Industrial / Mechanical).
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years related experience with SMT / Electronics Manufacturing environment inclusive of custom mechanical assembly, manufacturing test, new product development and electronics supply chain operation.
  • Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing Certification
  • Project management and new product introduction leadership experience
  • Candidates must be local to one of the IDSY offices (Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Plano, TX, or Tampa, FL)
